Since its founding on 11th July 2021, Asankare Youth for Development (AYD) has remained committed to transforming the community through youth-led initiatives. What began as a meeting of eighteen (18) committed individuals has grown into a structured and registered organisation making meaningful contributions to the development of Asankare.

🏥 Major Projects & Interventions
Community Clinic Support Project (Ongoing)
The Community Clinic Project stands as AYD’s most significant and impactful initiative aimed at improving access to healthcare in Asankare.
In 2021, AYD made a historic contribution by donating the land on which the clinic is being constructed.
Following a successful fundraising event held on 25th December 2021, AYD utilised the proceeds to mould over 5,000 five-inch blocks in 2022.
AYD members have consistently provided regular communal labour from the start of the project to date.
In 2025, the organisation contributed GHS 17,000 to support the clinic building committee.
🎓 Support for Brilliant but Needy Students (Ongoing)
AYD supports academically promising but financially challenged students, helping them continue their education.
🤝 Support to the Elderly (Ongoing)
AYD continues to provide support to elderly members of the community, demonstrating care and social responsibility.
